About Us
Mission
Seattle Emergency Hubs exist because neighbors take care of neighbors. When disaster strikes, our community hubs are the places where people naturally come together - to share information, pool resources, and support one another before outside help arrives.
Our trained volunteers go a step further: gathering what is happening on the ground, connecting people with what they need, and keeping information flowing between hubs, the City of Seattle, and the wider emergency response network. Everything we do is driven by community members who give their time and skills to help their neighborhoods be ready.
Our Network
The Seattle Hub Network brings together neighborhood hubs across the city around a common purpose: preparing for disasters before they happen, responding effectively when they do, and building the resilience to recover together.
We support one another through shared training, drills, best practices, and a commitment to collective readiness.
